Every programme starts with the basics. Our coaches develop fundamental movement skills like balance, coordination, strength and flexibility, giving children the building blocks for gymnastics and life.

All coaches hold a minimum Level 2 qualification, current DBS checks and safeguarding certificates. Sessions are structured, equipment is specialist-grade, and every child is looked after from the moment they walk in.

The Story Behind Swan Academy

Swan Gymnastics and Dance Academy was established in 2013 by Svetlana Lebedinskaya, a former elite gymnast ranked in the top three globally who competed at the highest international level. What started as a dream shared by parents and gymnasts who believed in Svetlana's vision has grown into one of Stevenage's most successful gymnastics clubs, with over 500 members across recreational, development, squad and dance programmes.

Based at Nobel School Sports Centre on Mobbsbury Way, just minutes from the A1(M), the club draws gymnasts from across Hertfordshire including Stevenage, Hitchin, Hertford, Hatfield and beyond. In 2026 we formalised our community commitment by establishing Swan Academy Community CIC, ensuring profits are reinvested into grassroots gymnastics in Stevenage.

To make gymnastics accessible to every child in Stevenage and the surrounding areas, delivering elite-level coaching in a safe, supportive and community-driven environment where every gymnast can reach their full potential.
